Its time I retired our fly mask: its been brilliant but has had a lot of repairs, and the time has come to find another.

However I'm stumped as what to chose! When I bought my current one over 5 years ago I think the shop had two options in my horses size - now there are 100s!

Sadly the label has worn away, and I'm not sure which brand it was. I think it may have been cashel, but they don't sell the same version if it was.

So I'm looking for a fly mask with ears, and a hole for the mane to come through. I don't particularly want anything covering the muzzle/nose. I would prefer soft material, or at least soft on the main contact points.

So do any of you have any recommendations? I have no max budget, as long as they're comfy and secure. Thanks in advance:)

I've got a fancy equilibrium one for my head shaking horse & that's great. Bought an amigo one this year as I like a spare & i'm really impressed with it & it was cheap, even better!

Cashel fly masks come out on top every time in my experience. They stay on and offer good eye and ear protection. They last for years. One of the most expensive brands, but worth the extra.

Any suggestions for fly masks that screw on, my sensitive TB needs protection, but gets every fly mask/rug off, I've tried fly fringes, mask with/without ears, mask with ears that attaches to fly rug, nothing stays on, I find them fully done up in the field, same with his TO rugs, but he suffers if he isn't rugged
