This thread probably comes into the No Sh1t Sherlock category 🙈.

I remember posting on here a few years ago about how the bay IDx wouldn’t tolerate her new Rambo beekeeper style of fly mask, she hated it with a vengeance. She just about coped with a Equilibrium fly mask, but would rub it so I would often find it all twisted round.

I gave up on fly masks for her, and was a bit worried that maybe she had some vision loss so found looking through the mesh troublesome.

She’s now 19yo and has come out the right side of some extensive dental work done by a brilliant vet dentist including two fillings, two extractions and the correcting of some shockingly neglectful work done by an EDT.

The flies were bothering her eyes recently so I dug out her Rambo beekeeper fly mask, and she now loves it! It never moves or twists round, and it doesn’t rub though she wears it for 22 hours a day.

Pre dental work the mask must have been pressing against her cheeks (she had a wave and shear mouth with sharp hooks) and causing pain. The EDT floated her teeth every 6 months 🙄.

If only they could speak…
