Fly masks..do u take them off at night?

Fella's stays on 24/7 - he wears his for sweetitch so needs it on at dawn and dusk so taking it off at night would defeat the point of him wearing it.
There used to be a horse where I worked who only had one eye and on vets recc he wears his 24/7, 365 days a year to protect the other eye, so it must be fine to leave them on all night.

It *should* be fine left on all the time, but be aware of rubbing etc. Always the chance that horse could do something silly and pull it over his face etc, which wouldn't be nice if it happened overnight when no one is there.

i used to take them off as i was told horses couldnt see in them at night! however when the flies got very bad i left them on as my girls eye would run and puff up and cause her extreme discomfort- i dont believe she ended up walking into the fence ;)

Leave them on unless you want to be up at the yard just before it gets dark and at first light ie. very, very early. Flies are bad round us by 8am.

Never had a problem with leaving a mask on overnight.

If the paddock has bushes, or over growing trees, or you have thistles, be careful that nothing gets caught in the mesh. My mare got a thorn stuck in hers near her eye and have since heard of some nasty accidents in similar circumstances.
Can't use mine at all this year because there are too many bushes and trees on their grazing.
