I did a forum search but couldn't find anything very specific so I'm hoping for help. I need some masks that actually stay on the damned horse 🙈
But I also want them to have a hole for the forelock if possible. It's driving me nuts trying to get one that actually stays on, mostly they seem to come off in a stiff breeze 🙄 I don't know if I just have particularly obnoxious horses or I'm buying crap 😂😂

I use Shires aqua ones, had good success with odd removal, I find the nose net really bugs them and gets covered in sn0t, and they take theirs off much less with the tassels.

The pony I had had good success with Weatherbeeta one and has hole https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09T5VKTHT?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Another vote for ear-less, although I find the ones with ear holes rather than a strap a bit more secure, but if they really want them off they'll get them off. I've had to resort to a fly fringe (like this - https://www.thesaddleryshop.co.uk/p_16278_hy-free-fit-fly-fringe) for one of mine as she wouldn't leave the mask on for more than a couple of hours and was getting tetchy about having it put back on. The fringes weren't perfect, but they did stay on a bit longer as she was happier wearing them. Buy bright colours whatever you get though!

I've found that a couple of horses prefer the beekeeper style ones and so keep them on where they wouldn't keep others on. They're not better at staying on per se though, they're just better at not making the horse want to get rid of them!

Thanks for the suggestions 😀
The lycia style ones never stay on for more than half an hour so no good. I think I'm going to order the earless shires ones...I'd prefer ears on but I mainly want to keep their eyes clear
