is it ok to leave them on over night? i usually only go down to pony once a day and sometimes not early enough in the morning before the flies come out.

I dont leave mine on 24/7. I find it encourages the eyes to go more gunky. Maybe have a mask for day and a fringe at night? Although if you can only see your horse once a day can you get someone else to do it?

I leave mine on 24/7 as she has a sarcoid on her head that I always want covered against the flys. Tbh though if you can't get down more than once a day I would see if you can get a friend to cast an eye over him just to check he hasn't got it slid over his face or something.

I left mine on last night.

I prob wouldnt do it all the time though.

The flies & midges are at their worst at dusk & dawn, so we leave ours on when the flies are really bad (like yesterday). Never had any ill-effects from it so far!
