Fly Masks

Can anyone recommend a decent fly mask? Dont mind if it has ears or not. I have 4 different makes kicking about my tack room but they dont fit one of my horses! He seems to have a very wide bit between his eyes or something because the edges come in too close so his eyelashes stick out through the mesh! NOT right! And the ones I have are cob, full and "arab" sizes. But I also want him to be able to see ok since he's obviously turned out - Ive looked through some masks and can barely see anything!

Poor horse gets puffy runny eyes if the flies get at them, he wasn't too happy today and my fly repellent dabbed round them doesn't seem to work for long.

Recommendations please?
 
I have got a crusader one is a bit dirty but i dont use it if you want it you can have it! Is a fantastic fit and a great mask i just dont use it as really horse doent need it ( bought it on a real whim last year!) Dont want any money for it.x
 
I am currently using the new design shires mask on mine.

This is has a fine mesh so they can see easily (unless rolled in mud!) Piccy of Peer wearing one

It fits really well and keeps clear of the eyes. The only down side possibly is that it doesn't have a forelock hole this year (no worries for me as mine has no hair)
 
mine is a crusader after going through lots of different makes. they come in loads of sizes but tend to come up a little small as my section C is in a horse size but the do a couple of sizes up from that.
 
I love equilibrium ones too! one of my horses has the midi and another has the one with ears and nosepiece!
i also like the rambo ones as i have had one for 2 seasons now and its still in good condition.
 
Over the years I have used many types of fly masks and the only one I will now buy is the crusader - offers good UV protection which for Cairo is the most important consideration.

Cairo wears his whenever he is out to protect his eye - and this can mean 24 x 7 in the summer. It has not come off or rubbed him and the forelock hole means no sweaty heads. I also have a gypsy cob and to have one where I could not pull his forelock through would be difficult to put on as he has such a lot of hair.

I have the new design Shires mask, mine has a forelock hole though, it's the only mask that fits my Arab cross and that my Welsh D doesn't remove in two seconds
