Hi, I don't want to seem extremely thick here but I have only just found some thing out and thought I would pass it on in case I am actually not last to know! (I usually am!)
I am expecting child no 4 while running my yard and all the usual joy of small kids and ponies, while browsing a mum oriented forum mention was given to not using some brands of insect repellent. Further research shows that sprays containing DEET can cause birth defects!!
I have had horses since I was small and three previous children but had not heard of it, but have avoided it by luck. Hopefully everyone else has too!!
