Fly repellant

Can anyone recommend a good fly repellent? My girl is managing OK with teh flies but does have some fly bites. I don't want to put her in a fly sheet so was wondering if anyone had found any fly repellents particularly good/bad etc.

Hope you're ok. I use Coopers on my girls - its not cheap but is quite effective.

I use Naf Off (the pink 1 to match my tack room lol!) but its really cr*p. Will never buy it again once this 1 is finished.

I advise DO NOT buy because of packaging lol!

I have found that Deet works pretty well for my boy!

Same NaffOff Deet Spray (black bottle pink writing) works very well! deffo a good buy! (even comes with a little patch test bottle to check horsey doesnt have a bad reaction)

I use the Barrier products. The spray is good but the cream works better. It works brill on my yearling

I make my own fly spray, I think the Stable Yard part of the forum has some recipes.

I doubt you all get it but 'Bronco Gold" by farnam works very well and has coat sheen too

yes i make my own i use tea,vingear,tea tree,lavender and citornella! works great!
