Let Fly settle in for 24 hrs and then took him out on hack with others. Fine, nothing to report, he was wary of me and I let him go at his own pace. Next day - Hacked alone. Napped when asked to turn down lane so let him have a look and asked again. Refused to move so kicked on and asked firmly. Fly reared! That was interesting! Let him stand and calmed him then asked again. He walked on - good lad! Gave him a day off. Took him out again today in company. He is not 100% happy taking leading file, much happier further back, feel he needs confidence from me but doesn't know me well enough yet. Much better all round, we are getting acquainted. He whinneyed at me tonight when I arrived on yard! Got lesson on Friday, will keep you posted!
