Fly rug for short necked, wide cob

I have a 14.2 very wide cob with a short neck. He is in a 6'3 rug usually but could possibly get away with 6, none of his other rugs have necks on them. I already had a 6'3 fly rug from derby house but when i tried it on the neck is about twice as long as his, the rug is too long but the chest too tight!

Does anyone have any suggestions for a rug suitable for a wide stocky cob!

The Ardennes gets his wardrobe from here - I have squeezed him into a mainstream (Shires Highlander) rain sheet, but it is really too tight around his neck. The other place is Ruggles who do a heavy horse range and they are probably a bit cheaper.

From experience of trying brands to fit my husbands heavyweight Cob (who we lost last year) Ruggles was absolutely spot on on fit, adjustable and didn’t have a ridiculous neck length. I’ve now got a chunky 14hh Cob and she’s in a 6ft rug and bought a couple of rugs during cold spell and wish I hadn’t, nothing fits her and found a Ruggles 6ft belonging to my previous mare in my attic and it fits like a dream. I’ve always found them to be really helpful over he phone and they’ve been able to tell me all the measurements and I’ve orders the right size (I have a very odd shaped miniature horse cross that didn’t fit into standard rugs and he has just Ruggles now too.
