Fly Rugs and Rain Dont Mix!

hey,

just wondering how people cope with the problem of this rubbish weather and fly rugs. I have to keep my gurl covered as the flies seem to love her only problem I have is when it rains I cant leave her rug on as she gets soo cold under it. I work full time so can put it on and take it off, luckily a few people on the yard have helped recently but feel bad asking all the time. The biggest problem is the fact it's so humid so the minute the rain stops all the midges appear grrr. Anyone got a amazing solution??

I tend to use a snuggy hood and lw turnout if heavy rain, though her sweet itch hoody keeps her dry

You could always put a fly rug on underneath a light-weight summer turnout??? I do that if unsure what the weather's gonna do.

I think Performance Equestrian do a set of interlocking rugs which have got waterproof liners?

A light weight turnout with loads of power phaser fly spray underneath, it is amazing stuff!
