I have a dutch warmblood mare that has to wear a fly rug to protect her sensitive skin but unfortunately the two that I have have rubbed her shoulders badly.
The first is a Mark Todd Ultra combo which is an excellent rug but tight accross the shoulders and the second is a shires one which is a good fine mesh with shoulder gussetts but again has rubberd her shoulders.
She only ever wears Horsewear or fal rugs in the winter and I do not encounter this problem so can any of you recommend a good fly rug that hopefully wont rub her bald!
