I have a Welsh d cross who hates flys! She has a Rambo sweet itch hoody which the fit is great and the neck is long enough. But she's getting sweaty under it. So I was looking for a mesh type rug that doesn't slide back or rub and fits quite a big shoulder.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

And can someone please tell me the difference between the Rambo protector fly rug and the Rambo fly buster. Are they any good.

I have tried the weatherbeeta one which is too tight and the amigo xl which was really bad quality.

TIA

We bought Mark Todd Air Mesh Combo Fly Rugs for our 2 horses a couple of years ago. They are both large horses with big chests & these fit well & are good quality. They cost around £58 each though, not cheap but we are pleased with them. We got them through the Eileen Douglas Tack Shop on Ebay. Their service & reputation is very good. :)

Eurostar move fly rug, super lightweight mesh type fly rug which is also super smart, available from equestrian clearance or the spoilt horse. It does up on the side of the chest so good for big shoulders.

I love the Mark Todd fly rug for my Section D. Does't rub and keeps him cool. I've got 3 of mine in them and they are all different shapes and they fit all of them. Quite a few straps though much to my OH's annoyance when he's putting them out.

I have just looked on equestrian clearance and they've got quite a few rugs on there at reduced prices.

Also had an email from premier equine with 20% off. Has anyone tried theirs?

I have the protector. I've always bought them over the years as I do think they are excellent quality. Until the last one!
I've also got the silver Mark Todd but it's a very snug fit so just ordered two from Derby house as a friend had one and it's a world apart from old DH crappie sheets. The pro elite one. Cheap too so I won't cry if it rips (unlike the Rambo!)
