I'm sure you guys have already talked about this one but cant find any old posts.... does anyone know of any fly rugs that dont actually slip round? I've got a Masta one but it almost always ends up slipping right over and defeating the object! I dont want to spend a fortune as I need 2 so anything up to about £40 would be ok. It needs to have good belly coverage that stays put too? Thanks x

Weatherbeeta cool coats are quite good and don't cost a fortune-in fact they've been better on my horses than some slightly more expensive rugs i had that made them over heat!

Also you can get amigo mio/amigo fly rugs made by horseware i think.

Honestly, my little pony used to have quite a tough material masta sheet that stayed but it was very loose and didnt keep flys out too well, we then bought her a snuggy hoods but they are £60-£70 or a little more now depending on size and tey dont roll round them or rub on the other hand they can slide back without paying the rug and neck cover connected with the head piece thing but they worth the money but its alot for two, uhm te only other is a very nice one on the derby house website that sticks to them without rubbing and isnt expensive complete with belly cover and connected fly mask :)

Thanks for those suggestions. My two boys are still coming in at lunchtime to try and limit the amount of spring grass they are having but as soon as the sugar rush has gone I'll be turning them out in fly sheets. I'm sure they'll be much happier that way x
