Fly spray's use before date?

Hi, quick question. I am nearly out of fly spray, the flies in our area are savage, loads of the blighters, I will get some spray tomorrow but does it have a shelf life, will i find that bu next spring it has no strength left,and be as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike!

I usually keep them for the next year with no problem.

As long as you leave air tight over winter it’s fine. But if let evaporate hopeless
