Fly swatter/swisher help pls....

I'm after a fly swatter for use while riding

Well maybe not a swatter but I'm sure I've seen something that looks like a big tassel that you hold while riding to swish away the flies...
I just can't think of what it would be called and what to google or even if I've imagined it

Has anyone ANY idea of what I am going on about and better still, where I can get one pls?

Why not make one out of baling twine? Make a chunky plait out of a load of baling twine and leave 10 inches or so loose at the end - that way you can make it as long as you like.

Yes...I think I will make one out of summat but was sure I've seen them for sale somewhere

We were eaten alive the other day out riding and just need something to get where the neddies can't. There's only so many times I can get away with swatting with my whip before getting thrown off in the road

our local tack shop are selling the tennis raquet style ones which electric shock the flies............. not sure if good idea if riding though unless you have a particularly lazy horse.

I have one, which is basically a horse's tail (that does make me sad though

) on the end of a crop ... got it at Hickstead a couple of years ago and we had been looking for one for ages

TB thinks it is just the ticket, but Motor is petrified of it

I met someone, who made one using some of the tail from her Shetland ..... it was after that we starting searching for one

Yes they do, as it is just like the horse having a 2nd tail and you can get the bu&&ers when they are underneath, biting their private bits
