I am planning to fly to Schiphol from Liverpool, hire a car at the Airport then drive to Quendorf which is just over the border into Germany, to see a filly I have just bought from Zuchthof Wanning. I plan to stay 2 nights. Now we are out of EU do I need anything other than valid U.K. passport and driving licence? I’m planning on seeing a few sights horsey or not so if anyone has any suggestions of what to see or where to stay I would be grateful for your input.

There are no visa requirements if you are staying for less than 90days.

If you have a paper driving licence or one issued in Gibraltar, Guernsey, Jersey or Isle of Man you will need an international driving permit.

If you have a normal UK driving licence then just carry it with you.
