After spending all morning rubbing flies from the poor ponies ears could someone help me out with dimensions for fly veil/bonnets please. I tried a cob size veil on my black mare last summer but although the ears were an ok length the spacing between the ears was far too tight. She has approx 140-150mm between her ears and her ears are 150mm long - can anyone point me in the direction of a brand and size that would be good for her?

Thanks in advance!

Watching with interest as I have exactly the same problem. Mare is a perfect cob size in a bridle but the space between the ears on her fly bonnet is just too narrow.

I have to go full size for my 14.2hh otherwise he has the same problem, its too tight between his ears. The only problem is that the ears themselves are huge, he ends up looking a bit silly. It's better than him getting upset about the flies though.

I've got an eskadron full size and the ears are a bit too small for a horse that wears a full size bridle and has normal ears. Not by much, but enough that if she vigorously shakes her head, it comes half off.
