I was wondering whether anyone has space on their team? We go to Nuneaton Dog Training and my collie is excellent at it however the other dogs that go training there aren't as keen/frightened of the box/jump outside the netting etc - so not suitable for a team really! Does anyone have spaces on a team or want to put one together or have any other ideas? Misty and I are new to this but she is fabulous and loves it and I would love to get her out to some competitions!

Hi Sam b.If you register on the British Flyball Association forum (on their website) you can post on there that you want to do a starters competition. You'll see simi;ar posts on there. When you do Starters you don't have to be a BFA member, and can run with any team, but I would advise that you do join and register your dog if you want to go on and competein Open Tournaments.
Membership forms are on the website or your Club may have one.
It is quite cheap and costs nothing to register your dog.
Off the top of my head I can only think of the Easter tournaments coming up which will have a Starters, and there is definitely one at Acremead. I'll look at the website after I have written this post and pm you.
I know that Molten Magnets will have a Starter team at Acremead and may have space. Also I am sure that the trainers at your club can advise you. Do you mind if I ask the age of your dog? They have to be at least 12 months before they can run in Starters and 18 months before they run in Open.
I'll also give you a health warning----
Beware--It is very addictive! lol
