Hi All,

Just wanted to hear from any of you if you have used Flyfree, good or bad reports.

The reason I ask is that two of the horses at my yard (one of them being mine) have been on it for just over a week and have totally changed personalities and it seems strange that is has happened since being on this supplement.

My horse has never been difficult to catch but for some reason we couldnt get near him in the field and he had become quite grumpy. The other horse had become difficult to handle and also deposited her owner in the field which is totally out of characther.

Both horses have since been taken off the supplement and have returned to normal.

So basically I would like to see if anyone has experienced similar reactions to it or whether you feed it successfully.

Thank you,

Emma.

i tried the sample they sent me and my not fussy greedy NF would not touch his food at all!!!! Since then he has become quite picky about whats in his food (even his garlic - i tried the powder and again he turned his nose up a it). Was fine in every other way, did smell awful though

I would try it as it may just be a coincedence. Give them a call and see if they will send you a sample as like gally said her horse didnt touch it so it will save your pennies :-)

I won't feed my horse Global Herbs stuff on the principle that I wouldn't eat something that reeked like that, so I won't force my horse to either! Awful stuff but I suppose the smell is the thing that keeps the flies off. One at work is on FlyFree and he's still as docile as ever

I use it and come to think of it - my mare did become a bit sillier - but could have been to other feed or grass. I did notice that it works a treat for the flies - Daisy is very suspectible to flies and they stay well away!! She doesnt mind the taste - my OH says it smells like curry!

She's off it at the moment as at stud and didnt want to be putting anything in her feed that may cause a problem with breeding. Will be interesting to see if she changes at all...

i use ThinkFly on my horses and have had no side effects to my horses.
Like you too Silmarillion, I wont give my horses any products from Global herbs. They all smell foul and I wouldnt want to put my nose in food that smelt that bad.

The owner of my old horse uses it and has raved on about it. He's not changed personality and it's kept his sweetitch at bay, or so she claims!

What company is it that makes ThinkFly? Will have to investigate!

Thank you everyone, keep your experiences coming!
