Hi,
Woody finally foaled! she showed no signs leading up to it, the camera went down at 3.15 am and when we got it back up at 3.30 she had little legs sticking out! we went over to the yard and she was really struggling to get it out, myself and my friend assisted her and had to catch the foal as she had it standing up! we did have a worrying 10 minutes trying to get it out but once arrived it was text book. She had a beautiful coloured colt which we have called Nico. He is roughly 50/50 marked (brown and white) even both sides with spots on his neck both sides! he stood up and suckled within an hour and the afterbirth came out 20 minutes after. Woody is an excellent mum so i think she might have to have another one in a couple of years time! waiting for photos to be emailed to me then i will post them.
