Hi all, just thought i'd update you all on by boys coat colour at the present. still unsure of what colour he'll be as he's on about his 20th colour change and still not lost his foal coat. Will update another one once he appears to have made his mind up :)

Silver bay?

I can't see the photo clearly enough, does he look anything like this?

Maybe not, Glory is silver bay, not a black hair on him. Palomino or dunalino dam, unknown sire.

Grey is a fading gene, which would be hard to see on a cremello. They keep their eye and skin color, only the hair fades. Hes lovely, Usually find they start dark, get lighter before their foal coat sheds, then get darker than they started. Looks quite like his mane is getting darker though. Reminded me of a Fjords 2 tone mane!!

who is that enfys? absolutely stunning :D

Thankyou, he is sweet, he is filling out nicely and growing into a cracking pony, bit plain about the head for my liking but his nature is second to none.

I have had him since he was three and a half months old he'd already been weaned and was on his way to the stockyards, sadly he's only going to make 13.2h tops so too small for me, 2" taller and he wouldn't be going anywhere.

This is him about 5 months old:

Interesting. So you can get a grey from a cremello? I always thought one parent had to be grey to get a grey? Learn something new everyday!

The creamello would have to carry grey to pass it on to it's offspring, but as E says, it's really hard to see grey on a pink skinned horse.
