Foal colour Question

Said foal is an ordinary ''orange chestnut''. She is currently about 2 months old, and oh so gorgeous!! ANYWAY, her muzzle is now lacking baby fuzz, but it is the richest liver chestnut colour.. her 'eye goggles' seem to be going the same way...
SO, is she a chestnut of the orange variety or will she go muzzle liver chestnut colour or somewhere between the two?

Basically, is the muzzle colour the deciding factor at this age?

Whenever I've seen foals changing colour, like greying out or whatever it's always started round the eyes. We had a little one that went from dark brown to grey very quickly and she started out with big grey circles round her eyes.

Foal fluff is often slightly different to the adult colour (even in non greys), so I'm guessing that she's going to be liver chestnut once she's fully molted the foal fluff.

I've seen it loads of times and sadly I have to let you know that the first foal coat you see from orange-born foals is often a beautiful liver chestnut colour however it almost always is the only time you will see that horse sport that colour and the following year it will go back to being orange again. It's normal, but often a disappointment to their owners who, like you, get all excited

I have a chestnut shetland mare (shock horror!!!) Who, was a beatiful deep liver chestnut from 1-4. Orange in winter, liver in summer. As she shed her 5yo winter coat she was a proper ginger and has been that way ever since :-/ she is now 13.
