Hi guys , so I brought a mare last year who have a surprise foal some 9 months later
lottie had a beautiful healthy coloured cob colt who we named Oakley
Although not expected and I had no intention of keeping him after delivering him my self Theres no way this little fella is ever going any where
Although I e had many horses over the year's and youngsters and have worked at a racing stud they are rather different to my little chunky coblet foal
So getting to the point what do people advise I feed him ?
At the moment he is out all day on good grazing for breakfast and dinner he has just chaff and sugar beet
And he eats his own body weight in hay at night !!
I don't want to over feed him but at the same time I want to make sure his getting every thing he needs
His rather chubby and very fluffy
Any advice would be lovely
Thank you
