KBIS! I've been with them for years. They accept foals from 30 days (they will do earlier but the costs are prohibitive for me so I keep everything crossed until they're 30 days old!)

it was a few years ago and I hadn't used them before. I know a lot of people that have just opened up new accounts with them as well. I would have thought that as they are an insurance company they would be open to always taking on new business.....

i have just insured extra cover from NFU for my in foal mare. the foal is under her policy now until it is 30 days old for £10.00 pm . this will cover the foal until then for 20% of the insured cost of the mare. ie: £5000 mare £1000 for the foal. which should cover stud fee, vets fees if god forbid anything goes wrong.

Have used SEIB for my foals this year. Mares are with NFU and Stallion with KBIS.
