I am still struggling to see how with that number of people you failed to load her..

What breed is she? Mine are cleveland bays so not small horses... The filly was 13.2hh at 8 months and the Gelding was 15.2hh at 18 months when we had to scoop him on.... - I WAS NOT going to give up!

Lol, Give up with a CB and you have lost the whole war not just that one battle! They're just not the type to let you get away with letting them get away with it from my limited experience of them. Lovely horses when they're on your side but right PIAes if not (similar to most others in that respect!). :D

EXACTLY! The gelding still likes to try me even now - 3 years later - he's a clever bugger like that! The filly was a doll in comparison!

Rubber dog toy - will be an excellent addition, thankyou :D

We use the same method with my one bad loader (broodmare) and her babies. The foal is "wheelbarrowed" in by two people, one of whom keeps him sideways on against two straw bales tied at the front while the other nips out and helps with the mare who is less awkward if she's joining her offspring ... All very quiet, matter of fact and minimum stress for all. Far less than if madam started chucking herself about.

Well a little update.... me & 2 friends got her loaded today,a little bit of a fuss but only took 15mins, 10 of which she spend standing on the ramp!

As for the travelling she was super, i didnt manage to get a box with the closed top back doors but in the end i just cross tied her gave her a hay net & she didnt bat an eyelid.

Will work in getting her on & off the box now that shes at the yard & hopefully she'll be a pro in no time.
