What does it look like when the foal moves inside the mare? I saw a friends mare and it looked like she was shivering but inside just around her tummy area.

It might be a stupid question but having never seen it before we just wondered if we were seeing the foal moving.

Heehee enfys that made me smile, reminds me of when my mare was pregnant and he used to do this for hours and then go to sleep. We used to be able to wake him up by prodding her belly and he'd be off again.

Thanks for the link. It wasn't as positive as that more of a fluttering movement. Perhaps I will give her a prod later and see if I get pushed back :D lol

I had my mate scanned at around 40 days and that's the last confirmation I had so I am a little obsessed with looking at her stomach all the time as she isn't particularly big (IMO) - as well as her showing in season all through (even before we had her scanned I thought she deffo wasn't pregnant due to season but scans show she was!) so my waiting continues and obsessive watching! Lol good luck! :)
