Yes - mine too. Here he is at 7 weeks though he's 9 weeks now. How old is yours on the pic? What breeding is your mare? She looks to be dark bay? Was the stallion bright bay?
hi there mum is bright bay believe it or not. ellie was 71/2 weeks in that picture althought now 9 weeks as was born 27th april. her dad is a very rich chestnut. here is her breeding http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/index.ph...l_font=1&l=
HER MUM
Lovely. Mum looks much like my colt's IDX dam but yours is bigger I think. Bea is only 15 2. Your filly is one day younger than my boy Reilly. Can you see the white patch on his belly? We're not sure whether he's got it from Masterpiece a skewbald or whether it is just a chance thing from Bea.
He is going to have the life of Reilly - hence his name. My daughter who features in the photo will own him but he will stay here in Wiltshire with us as she has a high flying job in London and can only get down here every few weeks. She is leaving me instructions as to his 'training' between visits.
She might compete him lightly eventually and we hope he will be up to a bit of hunting and small time eventing. I will hack him and school him as I do with Bea and perhaps do the odd dressage comp. Prob not jumping, knowing me.
i think these 2 will want for nothing lol spoilt brats in a good way. it will be intresting to keep the photos coming and see how they develop. i have been told to exspect ellie to be 17h just a bit worried that she goes much bigger than that lol
