foal size question

I can't give you full grown, but here is what thery are so far.
Storm haffy/ fjord x holsteiner 6 months 12.3hh he is 3 in April and is currently 15hh.
Avacardo warmblood 6 months was 13hh currently 15.3hh will also be 3 in April.
Isis friesian 13hh at 6 months, now she is 15hh will be 2 in april.
Midnight friesian 12.3 at 6 months, now 14hh and 3 in may.
Sparky welsh d 12.3 at 6 months now 14.3 will be 2 in April.
Chance friesian x haffy 13hh at 6 months now 14.3hh will be 2 in April.
I also have two welsh sec d one is 11.3 and one 12.3 both are nearly 6 months old. If you want the height just measure the corrientes band to the knee that will get your height.
 
My 6 month old is 12.2 - she's expected to make 15.2/3 her dam is 15.2 and she was around the same size at around 8-9 months old . My other horse I had from a foal was around 13.2 at aprox 4-5 months old, he was 15.2 as a yearling and 16.3 at 3 years old :0 ! It so deepends on the parentage / grand parents, my 16.3 was from two 15.2's but his grand sire was 16.3 so was a throwback in terms of size.

Am I right in thinking you didn't know what the sire was jesica ? If I remember rightly your mare is a pony so by the sounds of it your foal is likely to be bigger, maybe even as much as 15 +?

Ben was 13/13.1hh at 6 months and is currently 28months old and standing at 15.2, really hoping to squeeze him to 16hh, would be ecstatic with anything over that but happy with 15.3hh
 
Will also depend on breed and parents height. Mine was 11hh at 6months now 13.2hh as 3 years 7 months. He is likely to finish as 13.3hh (annoyinly 3 inches off what I wanted but a keeper nevertheless!) Some breeds speed grow for a few years then slow once they hit 3, others take a slow and steady aproach and look small for ages but by the time they are 6 you realise how huge they are!
