Hi this sounds like a bit of a silly question my foal is nearly 6 months old. She is bright Chestnut however was born with a white tail hair on the underside. Does anyone know if this will grow out because she looks like a bunny rabbit!?!? A very cute one but still!
Her Sire is bay and the mare is deep chestnut (she does have golden highlights in her main and tail)

What colour are the roots?

My filly was bright chestnut she has now gone liver chestnut but has black roots on her tail with the blondie & ginger bits growing out! So she looks like she is well over due her touch up!!

my chestnut filly's tail is still much paler than the rest of her, but i expect it to grow out slowly to normal chestnut, as my last 2 chestnut fillies' tails have.
that link is amazing. i was dreaming the other night about a brindle horse but woke up chiding myself that no such thing exists!
