Foal to Fully Grown

Just for fun, and because it might be of some interest (to me, to others?), I'd love to see photos of your horse as a youngster and as a mature animal.

If possible, please state the age of the horse in both photos.


(I will go digging to see if I can find some of my highlands as youngsters and post them here.)

I have 2 that ive had since Foals. My New Forest was 4mths old in the first pic (i got him at 7mths) and 7 years old (Now) in the second pic.
My Dartmoor is 2 weeks old in the 1st pic (when i put a deposit on him and he came to me at 4mths old) to 8 years old (Now)

Lovely idea of a post. I'll have to join in in several years time. At the minute I have foal, fully grown and ancient, but they're not the same horse!

I don't have picture of mine as a foal, but I do have one of him as a 2 year old. He still makes the same inquisitive face, especially where treats might be available:



And as an 18 year old. He's had dental problems, so been struggling to maintain weight. This was just before he had his teeth sorted:

Raf - as a baby, about 8 months, a 4 year old, and then aged 17. To confuse people, he is the bay in the first pic, the led boy in the second, and the laying down grey in the last.

Harley...coloured DHP... at 18 months and 15 years.

Sprite...grey New Forest...at 10 months and 13 years.

The first photo was taken the day Sprite arrived and 6 weeks after we got Harley.

He's an Arab x American Saddlebred.
