There aren't many Saddlebred or Saddlebred X's in the UK so it's nice to (virtually) meet another one!Aww gorgeous. I’ve got an American Saddlebred x Welsh D

Lovely. And that's one of the least fugly youngsters I've seen in a while! (Although, yea, it's very much a stage of development that is less... aesthetically delightful!)

The sire. I don’t know much about him or names etc. I just tracked the breeder down! He’s not going to be winning any conformation prizes, but I fell for him when part-loaning him and the rest is history. Currently working on building him up and getting him to use his back end correctly. He is a seriously weird mover! Beautiful temperament and quick to learn, though! He’s 5 in June. Photos attached of dad — and him with his mum at one-day-old.

Thats an extremely polite way of saying it! This horse has always had a very beautiful soul, but it certainly took a while for his body to catch up.

Baby Appy with her mum 15 years ago. Quite a sad photo really because her dam got sepsis from a retained placenta and they were trying very hard to save her at this point - tragically pedal bones sunk and she was PTS.
Obviously carrying the varnish gene given she's a LOT whiter now! Rocking spring spots at the moment.

2 months, 1 year, 2 year and 3 year 
hoping she makes it to 16.1 been, 15.25 or so for some time 
but is already big bodied now (weighs 1100 already!) . Unsure what she will mature to when she is 7, can't wait.
