foal with flakey mane

can upload photos tonight if needed but our 2 week old foal we noticed has dandruft like flakes in her mane, more noticable just before her ears where the hair is black. Any clues what it is and how it could be treated ?

Doesn't appear to be itchy at all, rubbed some sudacreme into the skin yesterday incase it is a bit sore but she seems happy in herself.

Ah thank you ! We have kept ontop of mums feathers this year really well and her legs are fab so we started to worry incase some creature had survived and crawled onto foal !
