Hi,
I'm currently looking at buying a foal which I believe to have a hernia. I'm just wondering what options there are for this to be treated? At the moment it's not very large, about the size of a 50 pence piece. It appears to have gotten smaller since birth though. I'm just wondering what experiences people have with hernias and how much the treatments cost? The vet will be called but as the foal is around 200 miles away and isn't very tame at the moment it's difficult to examine it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
