Foals /Rag wort / breeding rights

Hi All, I recently purchased a foal from a breeder / dealer who was also a friend. They took a £400 deposit from me which they said was none refundable. I went over today to worm the foal at my own expense as they hadn't done it & found all the mares & foals had been moved to a field FULL of rag wort. The breeder said if I didn't like how she did things with her horses then tough, then cancelled the sale.

Where do I stand regards my 'none refundable deposit' in this situation?

If the seller in cancelling an agreed sale then they MUST return the deposit. Talk to your trading standards office!
