i posted yesterday about the scrapes an scabs that had erupted onto abby's legs in one day. vet couldn't get up today, so i took some pics to show you all cause someone might of seen it before. this is it looking better i disinfected it all put purple spray and sudo cream on it which seemed to of help alot since yesterday. she isn't sore on her legs anynore either

this is on both legs and in some places looks a bit mud feverish some bits it looks like she has been caught in something

not very pretty at all is it?? you should of seen it yesterday!!!

i don't understand how something like that can appear in 24hrs
 
she was very sore yesterday, but she's walking a trotting about today sound, she was ok while i was cleaning it too

i'm getting so frustrated how am i possibly gonna get her fit for the 17th
 
My horse had something that looked similar to this. It turned out to be an allergic reaction to something and basically her legs erupted and started oozing. It looked like Mud Fever but worse. I got the vet and he said it was a good thing i did as it could have got worse and an infection spread. It might be something totally different but if I was you I'd get the vet out asap.

It cleared up with anti-biotics and steroid cream after a couple of weeks and hasn't happened since. I think it was caused by her getting her next door neighbour's feed which contained a supplement she was obviously allergic to.

Sorry but i can't remember what it was called as it was over Christmas.
