Follow on from "2 days in and already miserable"...Our first hack!

Just a little update to say things at the livery yard have got much better and today another livery offered to take me out on a hack to show me the area...as hacking at home isn't brilliant this was our first full blown through the countryside hack

We managed to encounter a dual carriage way slip road, a very very narrow overgrown path, some super steep steps, a deer, a raging German Shepherd, going under a motorway bridge...and he was fantastic! We even had a teeny weeny canter/gallop and he loved it, of course stopping as soon as I asked...YAY!
