Follow on from 'are horses delaying you starting a family'

I accidentally got a second horse last month (honestly, I wasn't looking - just couldn't say no to the opportunity) and a few people said "god can you afford another horse". I got sick of this fairly quickly and retorted "if i said i was having a second baby no one would dare say that to me!".
