.....I did it today,well sort of,thanks to happybus for her support and i know it was hard for her as she is a little nervous like myself.
so i got down the yard at 7.30 with all my tack,this time not feeling as sick as i did that day !!
thought it would be better to give it a go whilst all the others were still in,anyway got him ready and off i went with happybus there for support i rode him round the track to the far gate and back a couple of times then up past the yard(big thing for me as i thought he would have napped towards the yard) but he didnt so took him on up to the road,stood there for a bit then rode back to the stables
he was as good as gold
mind you havnt tried the hack out alone thing yet !!!!
so then decided to ride out with happybus,went up round the fields,we then went infront and had a fast trot up the hill,(havnt ridden much with him infront so another big thing for me to do !)
hb didnt manage to get a canter in so i waited at the top whilst she turned round and rode away from us to have a canter,well again another big thing for me as id no idea what earl would do being left !! he just bloomin stood there watching lol god why was i such a wimp !!!!
then a big scary glass collecting lorry was at the exit to the field !! i made him go out infront again,he tried to mount the pavement but i pushed him on and he was as good as gold and hb was further back as earl has big strides so it sort of felt like i was hacking alone,he looked at a few things but i pushed him on and he was fantastic,im so pleased
a big thanks to hb for being there with me we concored a few things today between us it was a fab ride thank you,and thanks to everyone for all your support in my previous post
