It is pretty clear that we don't like people who refer to themselves as so and so's mum. Daddy is just as bad.

But this made me really cringe:

My friends horse had her birthday and one of the people on the yard sent the horse a card from her Godparents!!!

Agh. The thought makes me shiver.
 
Did you read all of the 'mummy' thread? A lot of people on that thread don't give a monkey's what other people refer to themselves as.








I, on the other hand, insist my horse calls me 'Your Worship'.

:eek: of course! Buddy got balloons and a cake for his 4th. A mummy is not going to forget their babas big day (and of course they know its a special day)

Goodness Rowreach next you'll be saying you don't hang a stocking outside the stable on Christmas eve :D

Pah, this mummy couldn't even tell you what month her horse was born in, let alone the day! :D

I expect Millie to buy ME a card (and balloons and a cake...better still, bake one) for my birthday :D

Bud wouldnt be very good at baking, he'd eat all the mix before it got to the oven :rolleyes:

She's on grass livery so I'd have to staple the stocking to her head :D Not very festive, I think you'll agree.

Does it matter, my horse son, is now crying to be let into his pjs and tucked into bed with a story !!!!

In reality he is shouting to go in his stable, what does it matter what I call him and me???

I am a human, he is pony!!!

People whoever refer as pony and mum .... Keep on doing it

I am sure they do not really believe they gave birth to a foal !!!

My God, Christmas and Birthdays, the Guinness gets broken open and sloshed into Baileys (feed that is) and the apples get dunked.... ALL courtesy of Mummy, Daddy and Grandparents .:D
 
My pony and my friend's horse have stockings at Christmas and presents for their birthdays and they really seem to enjoy opening their gifts (with a little help, of course). In fact, my boy gets so excited about it all that some of my photos aren't suitable for viewing by children! I've often threatened to wrap tinsel round it! I'm sure you get what I mean.
