Follow up from 1st comp for 2 years

A couple of days ago I posted about my boy going to do his first dressage competition for two years after a KS operation. Thanks to those people who wished us luck. Well he only went and got 3rd with 66%

A little unsteady in his contact and slightly unbalanced but who cares he was great!!!!!

YAY!!! So pleased! I really know how you are feeling! When they are first diagnosed your world falls apart. You have no idea how well or if the horse will come back. So from now on everything your horse achieves will be a bonus!

Earlier this week my mare actually engaged and gave me impulsion. It has been a real barrier in her rehab and i was never sure we would achieve it again. But this week we did. Such a small step normally but when they come back from something like KS or as in my case SI, it is just such a huge step and so exciting!
