Hi, Im hoping some of you remember me asking how much you valued my 4 yo mare at, when she was unbroken? I got lots of encouraging replies, but people wondered why she wasn't broken yet. I am pleased to say I have backed her and she is with Helen Tredwell (Nations cup rider) to start her jumping. In case you missed my last post, here are some more quick details:
16.1 chesnut mare Holstein X TB, 4 years, many in-hand wins & champs in Sport Horse, Hunter and comp horse as yearling, 2 yo & 3 yo and now working nicely, still green, and has been to Addington twice for clear round, showing a good jump and going again tonight.
I would really appreciate any advice on what she now might be worth if I were to sell her from either showing or showjumping poeple. I'm hoping this will help to make my mind up!
Thanks

In reality anywhere between £5k and £10k depending on how much actual talent she shows over the jump, conformation, attitude etc etc.

To get more than the basic price you really need to prove she is a cut above all the other 4 year olds out there.

Sorry not much help there. I would ask Helen what she would ask as she is riding the mare and may even know someone.

However, sold from a professionals yard - you could probably add another 10K on quite successfully
