Not good news i suppose.
We got there and they xrayed the sinus and teeth. Upon looking at the xray, a line of fluid in the sinus could be clearly seen. The roots of his teeth were all the same apart from one tooth, it was alot darker and looked like the bone round it was less dense? Vets said it could just be the abcess, so they would put a drain in.
Cue my dad running off as he coldnt watch them do anything like that to his fav horse! So the wanted to make the hole under his eye in the sinus affected. But Bolly has two great blood vessels running across there! So they put hole further up in top sinus so it drain though into the affected one!
I have some pics, that i can add if anyones interested?
So i have to drain it twice a day, and he has to go back on christmas eve, for more xrays. If this problem tooth, is not better it has to come out. They said its a £1500- £2000 knock out job. Im really worried and im praying it doesnt come too that.
If he does it will be the first day they are back after new year.
So i suppose we need more vibes.
