following on from a few comments on another thread, any one else big chested?

I gave up on them... I don't have enough money to buy a really really good one! Nothing have tried has managed so short of chopping them off I'm not sure there is much I can do!

I have resigned myself to black eyes ;)

I seem to be very lucky & stay down the road from the playtex factory who make shockabsorbers, buy them at £2 each when there sale comes along in 2 months its great. Having to ask the girls on our yard what they want know.

I am a 32FF and 5'1!

Maybe its why i seem to fall off the horses a lot? Its an imbalance! :o

Went to bravissimo and did the 'jump' test on all of the sports bras I could find :D

Ladies,

Can I recommend a fool proof boob holder? ;) A BODY PROTECTER, specifically a race safe BP as the lacing at the sides allows for fuller figures.

I no longer have over - the - shoulder - boulder - holder type underwear clogging up the chest of drawers.

I have the shockabsorber level four one for + size or what ever they call us. And like clippy says I have a size too small. Works ok for me. Is hideous to look at though. Forget having a nice one which looks like a gym top. This looks like scaffolding!

ugly or what?!

Yep 36 J! here and I have squeezed myself into the same bra as you in a size 36 H.

It makes my boobs look like a shelf!

Bravissimo do some fabulous every day bra's though..I am buying a non under wired one as I keep getting my under wiring caught up on the horn of my saddle...flaming ouch!

wow im a 36 G! but a J wow, when we had heat wave and it was vest tops, or sweat like i'd run a marathon i got a few stares at yard as i tried to hurry "the girls" past any of the womens b/friends or husbands

You can get pretty sports bras in a bigger size I got a turquoise 1 & Fuschia 1 in sixe 40GG for a friend that plays rugby with me. If you want pm me & I will let you know

Gah, I'm a 36F up from a 36E now due to me being Fatty McFatso at the moment. I currently have this bra at the moment:

It's the only one that survives the bounce test for sitting the trot riding side saddle. I bought it from Black's (that outdoor sports shop) and you sjhould have seen my trying to jolt myself in the dressing room to make sure there was NO MOVEMENT! :D

Thats the one I have :D

Kinda embarrassed to say, but I bought one after we'd just had a lesson doing lots of no stirrups work, and my instructor had taken me aside at the end to mention it :o

I'm a 32GG and I've only ever ridden in normal day bras (Bravissimo/Freya). I don't experience any discomfort. Why do you wear sports bras when you ride? I'm worried I've failed to ignore a basic necessity of riding kit now!!

Ha! Totally agree with using the body protector. . At 32 F and 5'1 - this is the only thing that works for me. Just wish there was something similar for running too!

I thought I had big boobs, but seeing some of the sizes mentioned here, I feel positively flat chested!!!

I find the trouble with sports bras, is you end up with one boob and a big sweaty gully running in the middle!.....Is that just me!?

I have the shock absorber and although hidiously ugly it is very good, although My BP is the best sports bra ever!

I actually hate my boobs with a passion and am hoping to have a breast reduction next year! :D

32F and i couldn't ride without my shock absorber!
yes it makes your boobs look a very odd shape (a lot like pyramids) but i'd rather that than bouncing around! :)

I do have a large chest (34H! and havent had any implants - bloody nature!) and find that a Shock absorber level 4 normal bra style in a size smaller than normal with a shock absorber level 4 sports bra pull over style over the top does the trick. We are pretty secure for all disciplines even when doing sitting trot.

Im 36e and had never found a sports bra that was any good but earlier this year decided I should really wear a BP every time I ride. Have the lace up Racesafe and it is the best support ever, they do not move! Result. I may be a bit odd but I actually find it comfier if I dont wear a bra underneath.
