Following on from Chloe's post - snowy pics from Wales!

It works a treat! We used to pull the rugs off the unclipped horses on a sunny day and let them roll in the snow to get clean. It's amazing how much dirt comes off a horse that you groom every day - they always left slightly grubby horse-shaped snow angels.

Agree that Noodlejaffa is deffo the winner, if only because she has gone way beyond the "excited child" stage (TD, Chloe and T_H

I am still ridiculously excited about the snow, in fact I have given myself a headache I got so hyper earlier!

Even the fact we have little food, are unable to get to the shops and when we do get there, everything edible has been bought in a panic, doesn't seem to dampen my enthusiasm

My grey is easy to find in the snow. He just stands by the gate the entire time waiting to come in. He is utterly pathetic!! Would stand in a stable all day if he could. That's how he conserves his energy to terrify me when I sit on him (you can imagine how much I'm looking forward to riding him once this snow finally goes away

I'm sad to say 'excited child' stage has now melted (unlike the poxy snow!) and I'm now at 'sulky mopey adolescent why won't this snow eff off' stage. it's not such a happy place!

Having missed work and spent my day trudging about fields with hay, mucking out twice as much, and getting wet and cold I have decided that snow is nice but I've had enough now so if it could just be packed up tonight and clear by 6am tomorrow that would be great

No, I'm off for two days recovering from my mandatory swine flu jab which has left me like a goldfish out of water frankly. Bikini came free with a magazine in the waiting room. Honest!!!

I'M SO JEALOUS of everyone with snow!!!

We just having boring rain with excessive heat. So that currently it is too muddy to do anything but steady hacks and to hot to try anything else!!! Can't build snow men, go tobogganing(spell?), light an aesthetically pleaseing fire, have and excuse to skip work....you are lucky!!!
