he has just made me remember something gross i witnessed at a show a couple of years back.... a woman came along leading a coarse looking welsh stallion, who was behaving like an arse, leaping around all over the place, the stallion drew his bits, and was happily tapping away on his belly with it, the woman spotted this and "relieved" the stallion right there and then on a busy showground in full view of a group of children, with her hands YUK!!!!!!!! what was also worrying is the fact that the said woman had no front teeth

As someone who has ridden and handled a LOT of stallions I can absolutely say that that practise is NOT necessary!
