I was feeling a bit dubious about going to the yard today as I has a "bad day" last week where the horse I was riding was being a sod and it sort of knocked my confidence a bit, any how went this morning and surprise surprise everything was fine!

I was asked to take the biggest horse out on a ride, which I have never rode before. (I think he is about 16.3hh and I am only 5'2"! he is the biggest horse I have ever been on) He was as good as gold bless him.

Feeling all happy again about my horsey friends and my riding! yay

Hi Tabbi, Yey, that's what i was hoping for!!

And it's often the case that the bigger they are, the nicer they are (ie 17.2s compared to a cocky, know-it-all 12.2s!)

Really glad you had a good day, + thanks for feedback (may be worth telling yard manager how much you enjoyed taking hack out today on nice horse, rather than last week's? Maybe you already have, + it's none of my business, just trying to keep you all safe!)

Then again, it's the tricky ones who teach us the most...

Just glad you had good day + good vibes returned! Keep on, all bests, BS x

He is a challenge sometimes but I love him to bits
