The ones that give very little info , that sound like there may be something seriously wrong with the horse , they ask for a diagnosis:eek: but never come back on to answer questions or say they are getting the vet.

And the "what rug should my horse wear today", how tf should I know:confused:
And the what should I feed , again , no info on size, type, etc.

The ones that have a title like 'Looking for livery yard - v urgent' or 'looking for hay', but which dont put any idea of location in the title. Ive given up even clicking on them
amd I bet most of the people who could help with the search cant be bothered to play the odds game that its near them either. If you want help, put what region in the title!!! grrrrr

I don't find any posts particularly annoying; it's when posters are asking for advice/opinions and then completely refuse to consider any of the advice or opinions given... If you are only willing to accept replies that agree with you then there is not much point posting on a public forum   Of course if you disagree with them you are bullying

There also seems to be a huge number of posts in NL which should be in SB/PG/VV... anywhere else but here!

:D

The ones were people ask what's wrong with their horse and why they are behaving in these ways, and instead of checking whether or not their horse is in pain they whack a harsher bit in their horse's mouth :/

People posting videos of lessons and asking for CC... You're having a lesson with someone. You're paying for this advice from a qualified individual. Be upright and ask people to coo over your lovely horse/pony and tell you you're amazing :p

Also, people who drip feed information. So it turns out you saying that they're being totally unreasonable sounds horrendous when they give more information.

being completely honest ,threads like this .........

because a lot of people on here are so experienced and always right  i think it would back genuine novice horse owners away from asking genuine questions

it would put me off, although i'm always right and don't feel the need to ask questions :p
i'm not looking for a fight but think about it , a genuine novice/not got a clue person who mummy has just bought them a pony for xmas may be a little worried about asking a simple question in case they were jumped on or made to look stupid

^ that pony may be fed dry sugar beet or the rider injured through feeding high energy feeds or the horse crippled due to badly trimmed/shod feet or a load of horses going for meat because "oh its another one of those threads" and that would be a shame :(

Threads from itty bitty 7 stone riders thinking they are too fat for their 16hh heavy weight cobs and threads from people who think anyone over 12 stone have no business being on any horse! Those two kind of things really get my wick up so I tend just to skip over them now as life is too short to get annoyed over trivial matters :D

I don't mind any other threads as there is always something to be learned! :)

I was going to say that really no threads annoy me but then I read this and I thought 'actually, those do really pee me off too'

So threads about how TBs can't carry more than 8 stone and ones about weight in general. That is all though. Am interested in pretty much all the other ones which come up :)

Agree.

I don't like being shouted at when I am trying to help - whether the OP thinks I'm talking shite or not...at least PRETEND to be nice;)

I have a small band of posters who I just don't bother replying to now:p

I don't think I'll ever post again, scared of annoying people ;)

The only threads I find annoying is when the OP refuses to take advice, or when it just ends up with one poster slagging off another and vice versa. :D

Ones that have so many abbreviations that it ends up...

LOL I ROFL @ my Ponio 2day watchin her doin CC PMSL

And the ones where the OP posts something and then you never hear from them again.

But the worst ones are the ones where people have a sick or injured horse and they come on here to tell every one and ask if they should get a vet out...It's normally "Yes, get your ar3e back to the stables and look after your horse"
