Oh, oh, can I have another rant please? :p

I get fed up with people who whinge when they break t&c's (yes, the t&c's they agree to adhere to every time they sign up) and posts are moved/altered/deleted...

And when someone asks a genuine question and the OP can't be bothered to answer and instead tells you to trawl back through their (1500+) posts to find the answer!

Ok, that's two more rants actually but I'm on a roll tonight :D

I must admit reading through this thread really makes me wonder about people.. some of the things suggested seem perfectly reasonable things to ask, nobody knows everything all the time. As long as threads are titled accordingly it's easy enough to scroll through and ignore. So the only thing that annoys me is threads with rubbish titles!!

The threads where people start ranting about travellers wind me up. A bit of tolerance, please! You might disagree with some of the things they do with their horses but they're just people with a different way of life, surely.

I don't think any other topics really annoy me but there are many I skip over as I don't think I'll be interested or have anything to contribute.

I quite enjoy the contentious threads where people get a bit worked up tbh. Not when they get really angry or upset, but a lively debate's always interesting.

When peoples' grammar and spelling's really bad, I try to remember they could be dyslexic and not be too quick to judge. There are some words or phrases which irritate me though:

"Back in the day" (don't know why, sets my teeth on edge).

"Skill set" (when did this suddenly start?)

The strange new use of the word "random" by teenagers. EG: "Wow that's just so random!" meaning amazing, or awesome.

The ones that I find irritating are the posters who only come on to post a series of photos for us all to admire, my 4yr old jumping a 5' ditch..my 4yr old dancing the pas de deux from Swan lake, my 4yr old competing alongside WFP and refusing an offer from WFP.

Ok, thats wonderful and inspirational for us lesser mortals, but hey, join in with someone else's post now and again.

It tends not to be the OP's which annoy me, so much as some of the so-called advice.
I'm sure you know the ones............'your horse needs to move around to keep warm' ........
...'if your horse is off-colour don't bother with the vet, give it a 'tonic'..... 'your horse should be toastie warm in his 10 rugs'......'if your horse is hopping lame, take its shoes off'.....
All the ones which merely show up the posters' ignorance and do nothing to help the OP.

Yea, I meant PTS XD haha
Those are the only ones I know, I can't even remember the ones that confuse me! There's far too many! It's bad enough with text-speak!

Such a shame that some of you find new threads annoying.

If anyone has a burning question that is all encompassing at the time then it is no wonder they post the question to get some input.

If you don't like the thread, then move on, if you have experience of the situation then answer.

After many years you will find that posts repeat themselves over and over but that is no excuse not help someone if you have the knowledge.
