Mine does  :D

Don't always have a lot of say in the matter as he sneaks under the duvet in the night.

I used to, then I realised that me and three greyhounds on a smallish double bed was not condusive (sp?) to a good nights sleep :D They have very long legs which they like to stretch out....

So now mostly I shut them out of the bedroom, they have the odd night where I relent particularly if I have been away from them during the day :)

Ugh no. I cannot stand dogs in beds/on sofas. I don't Tink would want to sleep in my bed anyway :( :p

Surely everything just smells?!

That was the other reason I banished mine Tinkerbee, it is difficult to change bedclothes twice a week when you have to go to the laundrette each time :(

Ewww, no, my bed is a sacred human space! I already have to share it with one hairy, farting, uncomfortably-kicking-and-stretching beast, I have no desire to let another one in... :p

She is allowed on the sofa if invited, but she's so long and bony (and our sofa so small) that she doesn't stay for more than a half-hour cuddle and then goes back to her big mattress-style bed on the floor. She has another bed on the landing outside our room and that's where she sleeps at night.

My 9 year old dog has slept in my bed, under the covers mostly, since he was 7 weeks old - too late to kick the habit now! :D

Otto comes on the bed at night for a cuddle, then goes to his own bed to sleep all night. Occasionally you wake with him having snuck on the bottom of the bed at some point during the night, but only if it's cold.
If either OH or I am away overnight, Otto usually makes it his duty to fill the vacant space, but he can't normally last all night as he overheats so quickly.

Nooo not round here............

How'd that happen? :D

Happy to let them on bed / sofa as long as there is a throw on there. Don't want hairs on my duvet or in the bed. I'm single though, things may change if a man materialises - although think the boys may have something to say about that!

LOL I can quite see where you're coming from, one stretchy out bulldog is enough :D

If I'm honest I am so used to him now I panic if I wake up and don't hear snoring. Luckily he doesn't fart too much but the frequent changing of the bed clothes is a pain, but hey ho.

Fabulous, am wondering how you would fit in there though :D

I think dogs are an excellent prelude to a man, you'll get used to the farting, snoring, belching, snatching of the duvet etc

 Dear God, No! Thrice times No!

I have one large black hairy hound and seven GSD's (OK, admittedly 5 are pint sized) I don't even share the house with them.

I love my dogs, but share a bed? No way, yeurgh, sorry:(

I love the above quote about dogs being a great prelude to a man ! So true :)

Only one of my girls is allowed to share my bed and only when husband is away - she is my burgular alarm and likes to assume head on pillow feet at bottom of bed dog being a human mode! But it's only a once in a while thing and certainly not all 3 as they would wiggle and fidget and keep me awake!

Truth is I don't really, kinda scrunch myself up a bit.

At first, they knew it was a treat to be allowed on it so they'd be really polite and not move in case i realised they were there and bin them off :D Over time they dropped their guard and now huff and sigh and begrudgingly shift a bit if I make them.

My dogs dont rule me at all.....tra la la

Mine used to....but I then re decorated my room and it's all cream with lovely fresh cream bedding and it's staying that way, the whippets have theit own bedroom, the rotti lies on the landing, and the pointer and shaggy lurch in the kitchen or doggi room, and the rest in their kennels.

Did Poppy have another litter????

PICCIES PLEASE!!!!

(And I concur. Neither my bed or sofa is big enough!)

Our old dog has always slept in the hall. our new small dog sleeps in my daughter's bed. if she's away then she still sleeps in her bed, I think she thinks its her bedroom!!!

Maya and Delilah both sleep in the bed most nights, neither have a doggie smell and Lilah has to sleep downstairs when she is moulting as i cant deal with a bed full of dog hair lol

Riley my big old labbie sleeps downstairs by the front door.

No, they're not allowed upstairs ever since I came home and found a very neat pyramid of terrier turd slap bang in the centre of my daughters pillow! Dirty little bugger

Well the smell of dog would certainly kill any amorous intentions the wife might have. If i found the dog in bed, both it and the wife would be sharing the utility floor..... anything that can lick it's own bits is not welcome in my bed!!

Ahaha Booboos, that's a beautiful picture!

As for mine, the big dogs sleep in the kitchen, but Florimell has always slept in bed - in fact, she spends most of the day in bed too! If she is in the house she is under the duvet most of the time :)

Clearly, a habit she inherited from her dad....

Jack's not allowed upstairs (because of his back/hips as much as it being the cat's space.

I don't mind sharing the sofa (when I invite him) but not my bed!

Beautiful pictures FB, I really am a total Florimell convert :) Actually that is a plan for when I get elderly and infirm and cannot cope with three greyhounds trying to chase a cat with me frantically holding onto them.... I shall be a little old lady with an Italian greyhound :D

I love the fact that the whippys have their own bedroom - and quite right too :D:D:D

Flick's Bladder >>>> o

:D

Just thinking when B was under house arrest after his castration, he used to come and bark in my face at 5am on the dot every morning...I loved it when I was able to turf him back outside :p

Noooo it is smaller than that CC :D:D Abnormal animal :p

I suppose it would be OK if I had an enclosed garden, I would just get up without opening my eyes, open the door and let them out, and go back to bed :D

Yes, ABSOLUTELY - have I ever posted this picture? No idea who this lady is but this is so what I am going to be when I am older!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
